  • Site Preparation: Prepare and maintain the work area, including setting up and organising tools, equipment, and materials required for solar PV installation.
  • Assisting with Installation: Support the roofing team with lifting, carrying, and positioning solar panels, brackets, and other materials safely on roofs.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner, using safety harnesses and fall protection as required.
  • Tool and Material Management: Manage and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order and stored correctly after each use.
  • Scaffolding Assistance: Work with scaffolders to ensure scaffolding is secure and suitable for PV installation work.
  • Debris and Waste Removal: Clear roofing area of any waste or debris at the end of each job, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  • Weatherproofing Support: Apply underlayment and weatherproofing materials as instructed to ensure roof integrity during the installation process.

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of ECO4 projects, ensuring that all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Heads of Departments, engineers, and other internal and external stakeholders to help achieve the company’s overall goal of providing ECO4 measures across England and Wales.

  • Project Support: Assist Heads of Department in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate project activities with the customer, including site visits, and quality inspections.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Installation installer to join our team. This role is essential to the quality and growth of our solar installation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out solar photovoltaic (PV) system installations, working with a team of electricians and installers to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. Additionally, 20% of the working week will be dedicated to performing quality audits on completed installations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

Lead and perform the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems, including rooftop, ground-mount, and off-grid solutions.

Install, wire, and connect solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other system components.

Basic domestic work (socket work, lighting work, DMEV installs)

ASHP supply runs (armoured cable), cylinder fuse spurs

Consumer unit work/repairs if required

Fault find if required and any other work as reasonably requested.

Ensure all electrical and structural installation work is conducted safely and according to electrical codes, regulations, and company procedures.

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior electricians and apprentices to improve skills and knowledge.
