We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Installation installer to join our team. This role is essential to the quality and growth of our solar installation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out solar photovoltaic (PV) system installations, working with a team of electricians and installers to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. Additionally, 20% of the working week will be dedicated to performing quality audits on completed installations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Lead and perform the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems, including rooftop, ground-mount, and off-grid solutions.
Install, wire, and connect solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other system components.
Basic domestic work (socket work, lighting work, DMEV installs)
ASHP supply runs (armoured cable), cylinder fuse spurs
Consumer unit work/repairs if required
Fault find if required and any other work as reasonably requested.
Ensure all electrical and structural installation work is conducted safely and according to electrical codes, regulations, and company procedures.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior electricians and apprentices to improve skills and knowledge.
Conduct routine audits on completed installations to verify adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols. (if requested)
Document findings and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Provide feedback and insights to improve the installation processes and reduce common installation errors.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding any adjustments or recommendations for their installed systems.
Work Safely and adhere to relevant instructions and legislation.

We are seeking a results-driven Energy Efficiency Consultant/Field Based Representative to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and building strong domestic relationships in the field.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for achieving sales targets. The successful individual will be expected to work with the Director of Sales & Partnerships to identify opportunities, deliver Smart Energy Homes’ (SEH) product portfolio, and commit to achieving defined revenue targets.
The role will ideally suit a focused, highly-motivated sales professional that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will receive the training and support required to be embark on a successful career with an ambitious, professional organisation that places equal focus on quantity and quality.
Conduct face-to-face Heating, Insulation, and Solar Upgrade sales meetings with potential customers
Present and promote products or services to clients
Determine customer eligibility against funded or able to pay criteria
Negotiate contracts and close deals
Collate and complete all required paperwork and supporting evidence
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets
Manage time and activity to optimise lead generation and sales
Identify and engage with customers to promote SEH’s product portfolio
Evidence engagement activity to support delivery of target
Identify and assess customer eligibility and promote appropriate products and services based on individual needs and business KPI’s
Ensure all activity is framed against business requirements, Regulator guidelines, funding rules, and current legislation
Identify additional opportunities for SEH to improve their service and product offerings
Add value at every engagement
Place the customer and company at the heart of all activity
Strong customer service skills
Excellent command of the English language (oral and written)
